Pre-Engagement Therapy

This is specifically designed for couples who are not yet engaged but considering engagement and marriage. Do you want to work through your issues so that both of you can feel comfortable with commitment. We offer therapeutic sessions for couples considering engagement or marriage.

Pre-Marital Therapy

Planning a wedding is a lot of work! Due to this, preparing your relationship to last for the rest of your life often gets placed on the back burner while other plans are prioritized.
An important (but often overlooked) part of preparing for your marriage is premarital therapy.

Prevention is key! It is easy to overlook small issues, but unfortunately, these small issues might eventually turn into big issues as time goes on. Therapy is suggested for all couples before getting married, it is not just couples who feel that they are having “issues”. It is important to make sure you’re both on the same page!

Before you say “I do”, we will work together on what you are actually agreeing to!

Premarital counseling involves asking relevant and fundamental questions which will help couples to dig deep and revisit previous impressions they’ve formed about marriage, as well as uncover what each person believes before tying the knot.

Some of the topics are
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Beliefs and Values
  • Finances
  • Intimacy/Affection and Sex
  • Household Roles
  • Parents/In-laws & Supports
  • Expectations
  • Life Goals
  • Children
  • Attachment Styles
