La’Tarra Tynes (She/Her)

Clinical Director, Psychotherapist

MSC, RP, CCC, MFT, MHT

If you’re here, you’re starting to recognize patterns in your life or relationships—and you’re ready to do something about them. You don’t have to navigate that on your own.

I’m a Psychotherapist who works with individuals and couples who are ready to be honest about what’s really going on—and do something different.

My approach is direct, grounded, and intentional. I won’t just sit back and listen. I ask the questions that make you think, challenge the patterns that keep repeating, and help you see what may be hard to see on your own. At the same time, I meet you where you are—because real change only happens when you feel understood, not judged.

If you’re looking for someone to just agree with you, I’m probably not the right fit.

If you’re ready for honesty and real change, you’re in the right place.

A lot of the couples I work with come in feeling stuck, disconnected, or frustrated by the same arguments and cycles. Together, we get underneath that. We look at what’s actually driving the conflict, how each of you is showing up, and what needs to shift for the relationship to move forward in a healthier way.

I’m known for being honest and results-focused. This work isn’t about staying comfortable—it’s about creating meaningful change in how you relate, communicate, and show up for each other.

With over 15 years of experience across the United States and Canada, I bring both clinical expertise and real-world understanding into this work, including a cultural lens shaped by my background and the diverse communities I’ve worked with. My training is specifically rooted in couples and family therapy, alongside clinical mental health—so I’m not just helping you communicate better, I’m helping you understand and change the patterns driving your relationship.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist, Supervisor, Couples & Marriage Therapist, and Certified Canadian Counsellor.

This work matters to me because I’ve seen what happens when people stay stuck in the same patterns—and what’s possible when they don’t. I create a space where you can be real, be challenged, and actually grow.

Outside of my work, I value connection, meaningful experiences, and time with the people who matter most to me.
